About the Author

Eiichiro Oda began his manga career at the age of 17, when his one-shot cowboy manga Wanted! won second place in the coveted Tezuka manga awards. In volume 87 of One Piece chaos reigns, Big Mom's wedding plans are in shambles and plan assassinate Big Mom also has gone up in flames. But most of all Big Mom has entered her hunger berzerker rage as she didn't get to taste the wedding cake, watch out all that stand in way ally and enemy a like. If Whole Cake seemed slow to anyone this volume ha ratcheted up the crazy factor several levels. There are many moments in this volume that feel like they become iconic moments among the fandom.Another fun bonus of this volume is the newest character ranking polls that celebrates the twentieth anniversary of One Piece. It's fun to see how fan favorites have changed over the years, it's really a fun little extra. Things sure have gone off the rails in this volume and things are only going to grow more chaotic for the next volume.

There are some criticisms of this segment of the WCI arc for dragging a bit, but honestly in volume form this chase is thrilling and exciting. There's tons of excellent action and adventure, I love seeing the Big Mom Pirates clamping down and in full rage mode - especially Mama herself who has entered her hunger pains, on the ruthless Sweet Commander Katakuri. Perospero's another delight. While much of this volume is the beginning of an extended chase, we have tons of great moments with Bege, Tamago, Big News Morgans and the gang - there are plenty of standout scenes too like the beginning of a tense chase, the collapse of Whole Cake Chateau, Berserker Mama, Pedro's noble moment, the start of Luffy vs Katakuri - great and classic One Piece right here!

Eiichiro Oda continues his masterpiece. I now currently have all 87 English translated volumes and the journey has been quite epic.

I was happy to see more action with big Mom herself and also showing more Katakuri combat action.

Just wish they would come out more often.

(He is also a professor at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Public Health.)In the business world, eliminating waste (both hours and dollars) is among the most important strategic objectives and I think the material James Kerr provides in his book will help countless executives to formulate objectives, set direction, and manage initiatives that help organizations to be more productive and more efficient as well as less wasteful.He calls his book a "guide" and it does indeed provide an abundance of sound, enlightened guidance but it can also be viewed as the articulation of a regimen that can help executives (i.e. those who execute) to lead and manage change initiatives effectively, to be sure, but also to lead and manage other initiatives such as setting priorities, formulating and implementing strategies, allocating resources, recruiting/interviewing/hiring the talent and experience needed, strengthening client relationships, and establishing and then sustaining a workplace culture within which innovation is most likely to thrive. However, in my opinion, what it calls for is do-able by almost any organization, whatever its size and nature may be. There are no Big Hairy Audacious Goals among his affirmations and invocations. His approach reminds me of the one that Jørgen Vig Knudstorp and his leadership team took, in 2004, when they began to transform LEGO - "brick by brick" - into one of the world's most innovative as well as most profitable and fastest growing toy companies, in ways and to an extent once thought impossible. It seems to me that, leaders of other organizations that need to be transformed would be well-advised to consider a strategy of achieving that "checklist by checklist." Just a thought....Those who share my high regard for this brilliant book are urged to check out two others: Dean R. Spitzer's Transforming Performance Measurement: Rethinking the Way We Measure and Drive Organizational Success, and, Enterprise Architecture as Strategy: Creating a Foundation for Business Execution, co-authored by Jeanne W. Ross, Peter Weill, and David Robertson.

It is very understandable for younger students, but uses excellent vocabulary words. I love the notes written by the students that are from the point of view of the character. They seemed to drive home what was really going on in case my son hadn't completely understood it when reading the rhyming text.I plan to read another one with him in 2 months or so! (I plan to read ALL of them myself!)

I used this to prepare my 9 year old son to see his first Shakespeare play (Simulcast Hamlet with Benedict Cumberbatch). We read it 2-3 times and it was a WONDERFUL preparation for the real play. He followed the play perfectly and loved it. It really helped instill a love for the Bard. I highly recommend it! Follow up reading it with words from the real play and then a trip to the theatre.

It's true, these books gave my son a lifelong love of Shakespeare! They are wonderufl for adults too.. looking to understand and have fun with the main message in each passage. They really deserve a high spot in the literary world.

Love it!!! This helps make this story so reachable for kids, even my 3 yr old loves the sing song rhyming. The illustrations are inspiring for my guys to show them, they too can draw. Can't praise this book enough and I'm excited to collect her other books.

I realize this book was published in 1998, and I thought it might be a bit dated, but bought it to read with my son because it seemed thorough and included a section on STDs. Overall, it's a well written book with lots of good, accurate, morally neutral information. However, Chapter 10, entitled "If I'd Known Then What I Know Now!" contains quotes from men such as the following: "Don: I wish I'd known I could have been a lot more aggressive with girls - but I don't want any of my daughter's friends to hear that!" and "Larry: If I could live my life over, I'd like to have the ability to really figure females out. I've learned that what they say isn't always what they mean." Aaaahhh!! No, no, no! This is a book about sex!! It is not OK to be more aggressive with girls! NO MEANS NO!! There needs to be a revised edition with a section on consent!!! While it may be true that people (and not only females!) don't always say what they mean, NO MEANS NO, and furthermore, failure to say NO does not imply consent!!

This book is really not for younger adolescents. My son is 12 and after I previewed this book, I didn't feel he was ready for it. I did photocopy the first three chapters. Most of it seemed more appropriate for high schoolers. There was one very odd situation mentioned, where a boy asks if masterbating with his male cousin means he is gay? The book then goes on to say it is normal for boys to do this together. I strongly disagree and will share photos from the book.

This book is age appropriate for a high schooler! It talks very little about basic facts regarding physical changes, yet talks extensively about sex. This will not help your child understand why they are growing hair or other physical changes. It will just encourage them(as if they would ever need it!!!) to experiment with sex.I'm seriously disappointed and fairly disturbed amthat this is geared toward such a young age.

This book is awesome!!! My son is getting ready to go to middle school and with that said I felt that I needed to get ahead of what all of his school mates may share and expose him to. This book covers EVERYTHING. Including explaining what the changes that they may be noticing in girls and why. Which at first I was a little taken aback, but I would never want my son to embarass a girl who may have had an accident. So, with that said . . . I have recommened this book to any and all of my friends and fellow Moms who have a sone that is also on his way to Middle School. I would also like to add that the way the book is written is very relatable for a tween. I love that author worked with 2 Middle School aged boys and of course doctor(s) to write the book. It's not a clinical/encyclopedia delivery of information. I highly recommend this book!

Fantastic perspective for boys aged 11-13. It helps take the uncomfortableness out of the discussion while exploring most everything a boy would need to know correctly, instead of from the locker room. Some parts were a little more detailed than most 11 year olds need but we used that as a great topic starting point. I would strongly advice the parent read it before the child so you can decide what you want them to know and so you can openly discuss the topics. It's pretty in-depth and covers everything from hair growth to girl's menstruation to sexuality and life style choices as well as what counts as "sex." My sons found it very helpful and I enjoyed that the conversations afterward were more open.

A fun and funny way to "tell" your son some of the things you just can't say to him. I did look through the book first and write in a few things that my husband and I believe and want him to know. We try to always be open to questions but sometimes when the kids want to bring up gross stuff in the middle of dinner it's nice to just say, "You can look at your book later dear."

This is a good resource for boys entering puberty. My son just turned 11, and whether I'm ready for this or not, his body is starting to change. I of course am happy and willing to answer any questions he has, but this book gives him a way to find things out without needing to speak directly to me about embarrassing issues. I bought it for him along with another less specific book (the body book for boys by rebecca paley) and just put them on his bed. When he found out about it, he spent the next hour reading by himself. I asked later which book he liked better and this was the winner by far. It simply has the information he wants in a way he can easily understand. I also want to add that the mentions of bondage or S&M are total misrepresentations of what is in this book. There is an illustration of a boy on a rack (the torture device) being stretched, and a person in an executioner's type hood beside him, and the boy is saying "more! more!" Okay, if you are flipping through this book, you might see this drawing and imagine that it's demonstration some bizarre sex act. However, if you actually READ the page, it's a kid who is shorter than his friends and wants to grow! Jeez people, read before you judge. It's a good, clear book. It tells information without judgement in a clear and direct way. It does go into detail... which is what the kids want to know. Knowledge is power.
