As other reviewers have already expressed, it is as informative as a text book, yet as readable as a novel. Lot's of good info covering almost everything from A to Z. I generally agree with the previous positive comments, so I will not repeat them. The book does have two glaring omissions. 1. It never addresses the differences between a Mutual Insurance company and other Shareholder companies. I thought the author would have pointed out the advantages and benefits of a mutual company. He does have the definition of a mutual company in the Glossary of Terms at the end of the book, but he should have devoted at least a few paragraphs to this important distinction. Kind of like writting a book on banking but not exxplaining the differences between a bank and a credit union. 2. In the preface he states that Life Insurance is not an investment. He never explains this in the book. There is a lot of books and chatter about self banking using life insurance that he should have addressed. The author states that it is a financial vehicle that can be used to pay for education and many other things. That sounds like an investment to me. He should have shown the difference between an investment and life insurance.It easily deserves fives stars, if not for the two mentioned omissions.Thanks,Joe

Tony Steurs book is one of the most comprehensive and informative books on Life insurance on the market today. Tony is genuinley interested in the welfare of consumers money and dispels the myths on life insurance. I enjoyed reading the book It provided plenty of samples of policy illustrations and explained how to evaluate an insurance companies financial stability and their ability to pay their death claims. I am a Life Insurance agent, so I found it very useful in trying to understand the different types of policies and which ones to avoid and which ones that would be better suited for the consumer. Tony is a very intelligent man who knows how policies work and how to explain it to consumers and companies. I would give "Questions and ansers: Life Insurance" 2 thumbs up and five stars. If you are a consumer getting ready to purchase a Life Insurance policy or have apolicy thats up for renewal I would deffinitley reccomend giving this book a read.
I am a single woman almost 50 years old. I know I should know a lot more about life insurance but I don't. This book is a great reference tool. Now I know enough to ask intelligent questions when I shop around for life insurance policies.

For the beginning insurance agent, this is a very good book. Insurance products are very complex and sometimes difficult to explain, this book helps and could even be used to help answer prospective clients questions while presenting. I am glad I own this book.
A lengthy list of Qs and As. The one weaknes is the organization to find a topic could be better.
